Kelly Carrington Staff Writer The Bombers fell to the Notre Dame Hounds 4-1 last Wednesday night. Flin Flon's game against the Nipawin Hawks was postponed from the night before due to an ammonia leak in the Hawks' barn. Having the day off wasn't enough, however, for the Bombers to bounce back for the win. The Hounds took a 1-0 lead in the first period. Keeping the momentum going, the home-team scored two more goals in the second period before the Bombers lit the lantern in the third period. Sitting at 3-1, just one minute later, the Hounds earned their fourth goal, at 15:24, to cap off the scoring. Stillar Scores Devon Stillar was the lone goal scorer for the Bombers as he got one past Russell Abbott for a power play goal. Stillar got the puck from linemates Tanner Korchinski and Corey Tyrell for the late goal. The Hawks, however, had two power play goals against PJ Musico.
