Flin Flon Bombers defenceman Curtis Roach has been named the IBAS SJHL Defenceman of the Week.
Roach had two assists in his only game of last week, an 8-4 win over the visiting Battlefords North Stars, which was Flin Flon’s first win of the season.
On the season, Roach has nine points (1G, 8A), good for third in team scoring and tied for second in the league among blueliners.
The Bombers are back in action tonight, Friday, when they host the Kindersley Klippers. They also host the Klippers Saturday.
