It's that time of year again when the players say their goodbyes to fellow players, coaches and the community they have called home for roughly the last nine months. The Flin Flon Bombers attended their annual awards show Friday night. With roughly 100 people set to turn out at the Creighton Community Hall, the players and fans met for one last time as a few cocktails were served before supper. Following the meal, everyone listened to the speeches as those with the organization spoke about the past season and what to expect for next year. Along with the speeches, the awards were handed out. Players were given recognition for their hard work on the ice all season Ð as well as the people they are off the ice. As well as saying their goodbyes for the season, a few players said their final farewells to not only Flin Flon, but junior hockey as well. Reid MacLeod, Harley Garrioch, Tommy Castonguay, Jean Sebastian Bergeron and Josh Garneau have all played their last season of junior hockey as the five players aged out.
