Having experience is key when it comes to adding to a team roster. And Pat Sitko had what head coach and GM Mike Reagan was looking for. ÒHeÕs versatile,Ó says Reagan, noting that Sitko played both defense and forward in the first two games he played with the Bombers against the Estevan Bruins. ÒHeÕs (also) got RBC (Royal Bank Cup) experience,Ó says the coach. ÒIf you are going to win, you need guys who have been there.Ó Sitko played midget AAA in Notre Dame last season as well, which is another quality the Bombers are looking for. ÒHeÕs young,Ó says Reagan. ÒWeÕre a young team and thatÕs important for the direction we are going in. ÒWe want to be young, but we feel we have an opportunity to win this year.Ó As Sitko settles into life as a Bomber, the coach says although he hadnÕt seen the Cornwall, Ont, native play, he had heard great things about him. The Bombers hit the road for a game in La Ronge tomorrow and then host the Battlefords North Stars on Sunday, November 2 at the Whitney Forum.
