The Maroon and White's record of 28-17-0-0 in 45 games had them fourth in the league. Yorkton sat first in the Sherwood Conference and the SJHL with 65 points and a 31-12-1-2 record with 46 games as of Friday morning. The Melville Millionaires, of the Sherwood Conference, picked up second place with 60 points, good for third in the SJHL. The La Ronge Ice Wolves and Weyburn Red Wings have continued to hold the lower ranked positions all season. Heading into the weekend, the Ice Wolves sat sixth in the Bauer Conference with 37 points, while the Red Wings had 29 points in the Sherwood Conference. The Melfort Mustangs claimed sixth place in the Northern division for much of the season, but have recently moved to fifth place with 38 points. Upcoming Action The Bombers traveled to Humboldt and Battlefords this past weekend and will now look to the North Stars on home ice. Flin Flon will host their first home game since January 19 as they welcome Battlefords on Friday. A quick home game will send the Maroon and White back on the road to Melfort the next night. As the end of the regular season is scheduled for Feb. 26, the Bombers have seven games left to improve in the standings. Five of those games will be played at the Whitney Forum as the team looks to the Yorkton Terriers and Melfort Mustangs Feb. 15 and 16. The Bombers will play their final road game of the regular season in La Ronge on Feb. 21 with the final two home games of the season to follow. Feb. 22, the Bombers will host the Ice Wolves. Feb. 26 will make for an interesting game as the Bombers welcome back the Mustangs. Flin Flon and Melfort started the 2012-13 season together with two wins in Flin Flon's favour.
