It's out with the old and in with the new as the Flin Flon Bombers relaunch their website on August 22. The makeover gives the site a cleaner, appealing look and gives sponsors recognition. The site also is more informative, involving and interactive for fans "I think it's an easier format to get information," said Lee Deary, marketing manager for the Bombers. "Problems with the other site is that it wasn't updated and there was poor publicity for sponsors." Also, with hockey being an integral part of the community and there being lots of history, Deary said there will be more historical information about the Bombers. One new feature is the Wall of Fame, which highlights famous Bombers. Among the historical aspects will be team photos which can be clicked on to view. The Bomber Brigade page is dedicated to fans and gives them the opportunity to have their picture on the site when going on holidays. "For fans who travel, we want them to take Bomber clothes with them and have their pictures taken wearing them," says Deary with excitement. This Deary says will spread the word about the Flin Flon Bombers everywhere. Fans can also be informed about other leagues by clicking the appropriate link. With all the improvements made to the site, Deary says that fans will like up-to-date information with access provided instantly. Fine tuning and e-mail approval is all that remains before the launch takes place. "I'm really excited and I can't wait until people see it," Deary says.
