Barrett Penner Position: LW Shoots: left Birthdate: 6/21/1987 Height: 6'0" Weight: 193 Hometown: Flaxcombe, SK Years as a Bomber: less than a season Previous team: Battlefords North Stars Barrett Penner went to the Battlefords North Stars in the 05-06 season after helping the Saskatoon "AAA" Blazers to the semi-finals in the Macs tourny in Calgary the year previous. In the 06-07 season with a new coach, he established himself as a tough defensive forward with 154 PIM's and chipping in with 9 goals and 9 assists. This season, leading the Stars in scoring, he was traded early to Flin Flon who are competing for a playoff berth. He is enjoying both team and personal success with the Flin Flon Bombers.
