1. How many years have you been playing hockey? Ten years. I started late, but that's the way she goes. 2. Which major junior or junior A team has the best website? My favourite major junior team website would either have to be the St. John's Fog Devils in the QMJHL (Quebec Major Junior Hockey League) or the Mississauga Ice Dogs in the OHL (Ontario Hockey League). In junior A I would think it is the Nanaimo Clippers in the BCHL (British Columbia Hockey League). I really thought the Bombers did a great makeover of our site, but they gotta step up and start updating it. 3. What is your greatest hockey moment? It would be winning Bantam AAA provincials and earning MVP at the same time or playing for the Bombers. 4. What kind of music do you like? You name it, I like it, but my favourite is definitely Irish. 5. Who is your favourite band(s)? I don't really have any favourite bands. 6. Who is the best coach you've had? A goalie coach that I have been going to for the last three years who lives in Ontario, Ron Mays. That guy knows everything about the technical side of goaltending and can teach anyone. 7. Any pet peeves? People who use the toilet and don't flush it. People leaving their dishes on the table after supper, burping and pretty much anything that involves Brett Harvey's (his roommate) entire lifestyle. 8. What is your favourite food? Fish. It's good protein. 9. Do you have any superstitions? I have a ton of superstitions. I have to be the first one on the ice and last one off at practice. I eat the same pre-game meal before every game and no one else is allowed to touch the utensils I use to cook it with. I always step over the bluelines in warmies and to do a figure eight in my crease after the national anthem. 10. What has it been like to play for the Bombers? Unreal experience. Those guys that have never played for another junior team before don't understand how good they have it here in Flin Flon. I love how the fans resemble those of the Montreal Canadiens. If you're good they love you, but if you're bad then it's a whole different story. Best organization I have ever played for in my life. 11. Do you have any siblings? None. 13. Who do you look up to in life? I look up to my mom and dad for their blue collar work ethics. In hockey I always looked up to Patrick Roy when he was playing. 14. What do you like to do in your spare time? Work out and look at junior hockey websites. 15. What is the last CD you bought? I don't know. It was probably the Irish Descendants. 16. Who is the greatest NHL player? Patrick Roy. That guy knew how to get it done time after time. 17. Who is your favourite NHL player(s), active or retired? My favourite NHL player right now is Jean-Sebastien Giguere of the Anaheim Ducks. Retired is definitely Patrick Roy. I also have to throw in that the "Grim Reaper" Stu Grimson was a beauty. 18. What is your favourite movie? Rudy. 19. Do you have any hobbies? I collect baseball hats. 20. What's the best thing about being from Newfoundland? The best thing would have to be is that you're free. Every other place I visit outside of my province, everyone is too uptight! Back home everyone is so relaxed and nothing matters to them. You definitely can't get enough of that fresh air coming off the ocean either.
