1. What's your favourite SJHL arena to play in? Flin Flon by far of all the rinks. I like the atmosphere of playing in the Whitney because fans are passionate. They will cheer you when you play well and boo you when you play bad. Melville reminds me of old cold rinks that aren't big, and of home. 2. What was it like living on a farm? I love living on a farm. There's no better freedom than living on a farm. Everyone has to pitch in to make it run. You just go and help your neighbour because that's what you do. 3. Who is your favourite NHL player? Vincent Lecavalier. He's a big power forward that has a natural scoring touch and he can fight. I like the way he plays Ð with a chip on his shoulder. 4. Who is your favourite SJHL player? Oh man, that's a tough question, I don't even know. How do I answer that question? 5. What's the most important value that your parents taught you? When you start something, you finish it. When things get tough during the season, you don't quit. They've said it all my life. 6. Best coach in your career? Other than Doug Stokes, Tim Tisdale in midget AAA. He's the first real coach who taught me how to play the game. 7. What's the hardest farming chore? Oh wow, probably...(he thinks about it) getting up at 3 a.m. to check the cows and deal with any problems. 8. Worst thing about the SJHL? I don't know. The league schedule. I think we should have longer breaks for the holidays and extend the season. Have at least 10 days for Christmas. 9. Best thing about the SJHL? The caliber, it's one of the best junior leagues in Canada. Our league is well recognized. 10. What are your plans after hockey? Going to school and taking power engineering. 11. Do you have desires of going far in hockey? Honestly, I don't even know if I would take a scholarship if offered. 12. What do you value in life? Friends, family and my own success and the success of my friends. 13. What is your favourite Bomber moment? First home-opener. I've made the SJHL and it was a little overwhelming. I never played at that level or in front of so many people. 14. What does it mean to put on a Bomber jersey? It means that you have the ability and skill to play for such a franchise and you're not just representing yourself, but a proud franchise that has a long tradition. 15. What is your favourite thing to do during the season away from the rink? Just hanging out with the fellas. That's the bottom line. 16. What's the worst trash talk that you've heard? Someone said, 'Hey, McKinna, who are you?' 17. Dumbest thing you've seen in a game? When someone tried to jump in our bench thinking he could take on the whole team.
