1. How many years have you been an assistant coach in hockey? With Doug, five years. I have also coached at the minor level. 2. Are there any other sports you're involved in? Baseball, basketball, volleyball, handball, and football. 3. What makes Flin Flon different than other places you've been to? The fact that the community revolves around the team and the team revolves around the community. The fan support is second to none. 4. What kind of music do you like? From Tupac Shakur and rap to country. I like it all. 5. Who is your favourite band? I would have to stick with The Tragically Hip. 6. Who is the best player you've coached? Most enjoyable guy is Jedd Crumb. He played pro in Europe and got a Division 1 scholarship with UMass Amhurst. I liked his dedication on and off the ice. He loved being at the rink. 7. Any pet peeves? Ignorant comments from unknowledgable people. 8. What is your favourite food? Pasta. 9. How many times a week do you shave your head? Game days for sure. Otherwise depending on what I'm doing that night (with a laugh.) 10. How long does it take? No more than five to 10 minutes. 11. In what city were you born in? Winnipeg. 12. Do you have any siblings? Three older sisters. 13. What's the one thing in your life you haven't done that you would like to do? Go to Scotland. 14. What do you like most about hockey? I like everything about it. It's just a great game. There is lots of camaraderie with players and coaches. 15. What is the last CD you bought? (This was a tough one for him.) The last Hip album. 16. What is your favourite hockey moment? Winning the MJHL with Dougie in Selkirk. 17. Who is the greatest NHL player? Gretzky 18. Who is your favourite NHL player(s), active or retired? Steve Yzerman (retired). Keith Tkachuk, Tyler Arnason, Garnet Exelby. 19. What is your favourite movie? Slap Shot or Bull Durham. 20. What do you like to do in your spare time? Golf is always fun with friends and family. Summer hockey in Winnipeg is my favourite time of year.
