The Flin Flon Bombers would like to congratulate three more of its players for receiving scholarships for the 2004-05 season. Bomber Captain Derek Blais will be attending Mount Royal College this fall. The 5'10" 190 lbs native of Debden, SK had 17 goals, 21 assists and 256 PIM this past season for the Bombers. Anatoliy Moshkovsky, acquired by the Bombers last December, will be attending SAIT in the upcoming season. The 5'9 180 lbs native of the Ukraine posted 11 goals and 18 assists in his 33 games with the Bombers. Bomber All Star defenseman Derek Gallagher has also accepted a scholarship for the upcoming season. Derek will be attending Concordia University College in Edmonton. The 5' 10" 200 lbs native of Saskatoon had 15 goals and 19 assists from the point for the Bombers. The above scholarship recipients join Joe Gori (Plattsburgh) and Paul Reimer (Manhattanville) as Bombers able to continue their hockey careers at the university level. The Bombers wish all five scholarship recipients the best as they move on to the next level.
