The Bombers continued their win streak Tuesday night, picking up a 4-2 win once again over Melville.

Flin Flon started up their first southern road swing in 18 months with a third consecutive win over the Mils. Zak Smith got the Bombers on the board midway through the first, followed by a Jake Spak snipe that tied things up. The Bombers struck back later in the period, as Kylynn Olafson deflected a point shot past former Flin Flon goalie Jared Thompson to restore a one-goal Flin Flon lead.

In the second, Mils captain Jonathan Krahn tied the game back up, beating Cal Schell in the process, but Flin Flon eked out yet another lead in the third - Cole Vardy blew a hard slapshot off the post and in past Thompson, standing as the game winner. Jaeden Mercier added an empty netter as insurance late in the third.

Schell picked up yet another victory, making 34 saves. Thompson had a busier night in net for Melville, making 39 stops, but he still got stuck with the L.

Flin Flon now holds sole possession of the SJHL points lead with 20 points, leapfrogging the idle Melfort Mustangs. The Bombers have also won all of their last six games.

The Bombers will continue their four-games-in-five-nights southern road trip with a game against Estevan Wednesday, then Notre Dame Friday and Weyburn Saturday.
