The Bombers bagged another win Friday night, with a surge in offence getting a 7-4 Flin Flon win over La Ronge.

La Ronge opened the scoring, getting a goal from Andrew Blocker halfway through the first period. After the period's halfway point, the game was delayed by about 20 minutes - the Zamboni door at the Ice Wolves' home rink, the Mel Hegland Uniplex, required repairs in the middle of the period. Both teams went to the dressing rooms for a short time while the door was fixed.

After the period restarted, the Bombers tied it up, snagging a tying goal from Nathan Gagne.

In the second period, Flin Flon ran away with the lead. Xavier Lapointe gave the Bombers a lead, then Cole Vardy scored moments later. Tristan Lambert got one back for La Ronge, but Jaeden Mercier scored a late goal to make it 4-2 Bombers after 40.

The third saw both teams swap goals - Aaron Greyeyes for La Ronge, Jeremi Tremblay for Flin Flon, Curren Wintonyk-Pilot for La Ronge, Gagne again for the Bombers. The combo breaker would prove to be Gabriel Shipper, who scored his first-ever Canadian junior goal to seal the win for the Bombers.

La Ronge's Dawson Smith got pelted, facing 55 shots and saving 48. Cal Schell stopped 25 pucks and got his second W of the season.

The two teams will meet again at the Whitney Forum Saturday night.
