The Flin Flon Skatepark has had plenty of use this summer as the second competition this year recently took place.
The Flin Flon Lions Club hosted its first competition at the skatepark on June 27.
The competition was open to both skateboarders and BMXers in two categories: ages 13 to 18 and 18 and up.
Twenty participants signed up for the event, which was held in conjunction with the Trout Festival.
Results
Brayden Dudley took first place in the 13 to 18 skateboarding category as Jared Bradt followed in second. Carson Ledoux picked up third.
Cahlin Jesso earned top spot in 18-plus for skateboarding while Callum Spencer was second and Scott Bortis third.
Brandon Sawchyn was first in the 13-18 age group for BMXers. Willy Eikel took second place while third went to Adam Hilts.
It was Kirkland Ferguson in first place in the 18-plus category for BMXers as Alex Clark was second and Chris Ringrose third.
