Flin Flon/Creighton Minor will be knocking on your door in the next week to raise money with a door-to-door cash calendar blitz. Money raised from the calendars, featuring pictures from Flin Flon/Creighton Minor Hockey and the Flin Flon Bombers, will benefit both clubs. The calendars cost $25 each, and make a great Christmas present when purchased in someone elses name. There are a total of 79 draws, and with only 2,000 printed, your odds of winning are better than 1 in 26 if all the calendars are sold. A total of 64 draws for $25 will be mnade Monday through Friday in January February and March, with an additional 12 draws of $100 on each Saturday in January February and March and three draws of $500 on the last day of January, February and March. Total cash value of prizes is $4,300. All draws are open to all ticket holders. The blitz campaign started last night and is expected to wrap up on Tuesday. Cash calendars will also be available at the Bomber game on Saturday night against the La Ronge Ice Wolves. If no one shows up at your door and you can't make it to the game, you support hockey in Flin Flon by calling the Bomber office at 687-4404.
