Young people have a new motivation to lead healthier lives. This month, every time visitors to the Community Youth Resource Centre answer a few health-related questions, their names are entered into a draw for a slick mountain bike complete with a helmet and lock. The prize, valued at $200, has been donated by the Community Diabetes Program at the Flin Flon Friendship Centre. Program coordinator Jill Spiller said it's important to prevent health problems before they occur and to get youths to think about their health. The contest began on June 1, with the draw date set for June 30. The Community Youth Resource Centre is located in the lower level of the First United Lutheran Church on Second Avenue. The centre is not affiliated with the church.
