Kelly Carrington Staff Writer La Ronge Ice Wolves coach Bob Beatty will help coach the U17 Challenge's Team West. Alongside Garth Mitchell of the Yellowhead Chiefs, from the Manitoba Midget Triple A league, Beatty will take the assistant coaching position on the bench. The Saskatchewan Hockey Association and Hockey Manitoba jointly announced the roster that will represent Team West at the 2011 World Under 17 Hockey Challenge Tournament. This year's tournament will be held in Winnipeg and Portage La Prairie from December 28 through to January 4. The teams will focus on the talents of some of the top players, born in 1994, throughout Canada, the Czech Republic, Germany, Finland, Slovakia and the United States of America.
