See 'Richard' P.# Con't from P.# Bomber president Dave McPherson addressed the crowd to start the evening. "To the coaching staff and all the returning players: hold your heads up high, guys. We were obviously the youngest team in the SJHL. We took our bumps and bruises this year, but the future looks very good for us. Mark my words, teams will definitely fear us for the next few years. Always remember that if you believe in yourself, good things will happen." Coach Ryan Hoffman added: "Over the year, we had a few more bumps in the road than we expected. It was a tough year for players, coaches, board members, fans and sponsors alike. After dealing with a number of issues and making some moves, I think we've got a group of kids that this community can be proud of. This group of kids, hockey people can see, are headed in the right direction." Hoffman also noted that in a year of ups and downs, there were still a number of accomplishments to be proud of. The team won numerous weekly awards, as well as sent six players to the SJHL prospects game. Also, Tyler Beachell picked up the SJHL's Rookie of the Year award and was named to the league's All-rookie Team. The Bombers will officially start making plans for next season starting with their Annual General Meeting on April 13, 2005.
