Flin Flon Bomber forward Tyler Beachell is the sixth best point producer in the SJHL. Now he is joining Canadian junior hockey's elite at the CJAHL prospects game in Yorkton, SK on Dec. 6 and 7. "Well obviously it's a big honour when you get named to a team like that," Beachell said during the skate with the Jr. Bombers event at the Whitney Forum. "It's kind of been on the back of my mind all season and when I heard about it, to find out that you make the team it's pretty exciting." With 15 goals and 20 assists for 35 points in 26 games, he certainly deserves it. "Tyler is a great representative for the City of Flin Flon and the Bombers," says Brad Snyder, Bombers interim coach-GM. "He'll be a great ambassador and it's an exciting step in his life. They couldn't have picked a better kid." Beachell is among five players representing the SJHL for the West team. "It's a pretty big honour when five guys get named and you're one of them," Beachell explained. "I'm excited for it, I'm looking forward to it. "I don't get to see any of the guys from B.C., or Alberta, or Manitoba or from the East coast," he said. "It will be interesting to see what kind of talent they have in all the other leagues and it should be a fun game." The other four players representing the SJHL are defensemen Derek Keller, Battlefords North Stars, forward Chad Nehring from the Yorkton Terriers, forward Blake Gallagher of the Notre Dame Hounds, and goalie Brett Bothwell from the Yorkton Terriers.
