Jonathon Naylor Editor A Flin Flon bank branch has made a generous deposit to a kids' hockey team. Scotiabank last week donated $1,000 to the Peewee A Bombers, with captain Brady Farkus and assistant captains Michael Sewap and Indra Wood on hand along with coach Bob Wood. The cheque was presented as part of Scotiabank's Community Hockey Sponsorship Program. At the national level, Scotiabank has a long tradition of supporting hockey in Canada from local teams and minor hockey associations to professional players and leagues. The bank also purchased the naming rights to the home arenas of the Ottawa Senators, Scotiabank Place, and the Calgary Flames, the Scotiabank Saddledome.
