The Hapnot Athletic Council will be hosting the 2003/04 Athletic Banquet on Thursday, June 10, in the high school's gymnasium. The evening will include a hot meal catered by RJ's Restaurant, followed by the annual awards ceremony, to recognize the athlete's accomplishments over the past school year. Tickets can be purchased at the gym office by Friday, June 4. Hapnot boasts 17 different sports teams that compete in the zone from the grade 9 to senior level. Awards will be given out for each team by the coaches. Students accumulate points for participating in sports as well as volunteering with the athletic council and various sporting events. These points are used to achieve minor and major award status. The major and minor award winners will be announced at the banquet, as well as the male and female athletes of the year.
