The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League is the second highest drawing Junior "A" loop in Canada according to figures released by the Canadian Junior "A" Hockey League on Thursday. The SJHL and its eight playoff teams have averaged 1171 fans per game in the postseason. Only the BCHL at 1300 has brought in more people through the turnstiles. The AJHL's Grande Prairie Storm, who will host the Royal Bank Cup, are tops among teams at 2325 for an average. A pair of BCHL clubs are running second and third with the Nanaimo Clippers (1881) and Alberni Valley Bulldogs (1844) ranking just ahead of the top SJHL draw, the Yorkton Terriers, who averaged 1813 in six playoff home dates. Rounding out the remaining leagues around Canada, it's the Maritime Junior Hockey League in third averaging 1159. The Alberta Junior Hockey League is next at 1037. Manitoba Junior Hockey League comes fifth at 919 and then the LHJQ in Quebec is sixth with an average of 645. The Central Junior Hockey League in Ontario is seventh at 546.
