The Atom AA Bombers went to Saskatoon to play in the Toon Town showdown November 24-26. Fourteen teams were in the tournament. The Atom Bombers played five games with a 7-0 win over the Raiders, 7-0 over the Knights, 10-0 over Bobcat Stars, and 6-2 over the Moose Jaw Canadians. Then they lost in the "A" final to the P.A. Sharks. The kids then went to Swan River December 9-11. There they played Thompson and lost 5-4. Then beat Dauphin 3-2. They played Dauphin again in the A side semis. They scored with six seconds on the clock to defeat Dauphin 5-4. This put Flin Flon in the "A" finals against Thompson. There, with one minute and 32 seconds to go in overtime, they scored to win the A side finals 4-3. Game stars for the weekend were Brendan Barron, Evan Akkerman, Tanner Suski and Boyd Langan. Next tournament will be on January 14-16 in Flin Flon.3/1/06
