Cheering and chanting could be heard on Green Street from the Flin Flon Aqua Centre this past weekend as athletes cheered on their opponents and teammates in the Flin Flon Invitational Swim Meet. With swimmers from Flin Flon, The Pas, Thompson and one from Saskatoon in the pool, some waves were being made as new times were set and personal bests were broken. Members of the Aqua Jets encouraged not only their team members, but also one who wore a different cap. Garrison Aune swam with the Aqua Jets before recently moving to Saskatoon. It was hard to tell he wasn't an Aqua Jet as his peers cheered him on just as much as anyone else in the pool.
