The Grey Cup Bonspiel originally began in 1969 with the first Grey Cup winners being the Bob Quinn team of Grant Adams, Jack Billy and Don Rachuk. This year the Rick Switzer team of Dennis Anderson, Garth Thompson and Len Bolton took home top honours and the Don Holmes rink of Roy Henry, Bill Pico and Bev Baker won the second event.
