Kelly Carrington Staff Writer The Portage Terriers earned their second win in as many games against the Humboldt Broncos last Thursday night with a 1-0 shutout. The night before, the Terriers cancelled their tee times after being down 3-0 in the Anavet Cup series against the Broncos, winning their first game 3-2. Heading into the weekend action, the Broncos were up 3-2 over the Terriers. Games were scheduled for Saturday and last night, after The Reminder went to press. A win Saturday would have given the Broncos the series. A loss would have forced a game 7 last night. Regardless of the outcome, both the Terriers and Broncos will be competing in the RBC Cup. As the host team, the Broncos receive an automatic berth into the national tournament_ as do the Terriers for winning the MJHL final. Please see Wednesday's Reminder for full coverage of the Anavet Cup series.
