A number of activities have been planned for children and members of the community. Things got started for the Northern Physical Activity Week on Saturday with yoga for the kids. This week will see a number of events for participants to take part in, such as a community walk, arm wrestling and weight training. Between the Town of Creighton, City of Flin Flon, Kids First North, CADAC, Creighton Community School, in motion and McDonald's, the community will be up and going all week long. The North has a number of activities taking place in the week long celebration of activity and movement. In Creighton and Flin Flon, there will be an obstacle course today at the Creighton Sportex, along with another round of the arm wrestling contest at the school. A work-bee will also be held at the soccer field in Creighton to repair and prepare the field for the upcoming season. Thursday there will be a seniors walk at the Flin Flon Community Hall, along with more arm wrestling at the school, and weight training. Friday has the community and young children out for a treasure walk around the town. Saturday morning, for MotherÕs Day, there will be a Gift of Health and Energy and Exercise class with a weight training program to follow.
