The 34th Annual Centaloppet had roughly 60 skiers out this year with seven-year-old Kendra Suss taking home the cup Ð she was also last year's winner. Bryce Bodnarus and Maryn McKee (aged five and six respectively) Ð the handicap definitely seems to have favoured the little guys this time around Ð claimed the runners up title. The fastest actual time went to Daryl Brown for the senior men (18 minutes 26 seconds) while Joan Bowman (32:57) earned senior female. The junior men (15-19) title went to Stephano Strapazzon (27:41). Callum Spencer (26:38) earned the boys (14 and under) with Kyla Suss (31:18) receiving the girls (14 and under title). The largest family out that day were The Bowmans with four skiers. Happiest face went to Austyn Davis while Eli Plamondon and Bryce Bodnarus (both 5 years) were the youngest skiers. The oldest skier was Ron Black (62 years). The most dynamic Finish went to Ralph Laliberte with John Belfry earning the special achievement for wearing bib #54 and crossing the line in 54th place!
