The Bantam AA Bombers won four straight games to win the Saskatoon Redwings Bantam tournament held Dec. 8-10. They beat the Saskatoon Knights 9-0 on Friday, Dec. 8, with Jace Anderson in goal. On Saturday morning they beat the Redwing Royals of Saskatoon 7-3 with Shaun Strom in net. Saturday afternoon they played a tough game against the Redwing Thrashers of Saskatoon, but won with a score of 4-3. Jace was in net again. Then the team took some time off to enjoy a Saskatoon Blades game and watch local boy Walker Wintoniuk. (Unfortunately they lost to Prince Albert). In the finals on Sunday, Flin Flon faced OCN. Shaun stoned them 5-0. Flin Flon played very well with lots of good teamwork, especially considering they were missing four players due to illness and injury. Both goalies had great tournaments. The team is coached by Trent Boak, who is assisted by Tanner Brough.
