MCSC was established by the provincial government and was entrusted with the job of supporting volunteer organizations across Manitoba. The MCSC Volunteer Council is composed of 18 members, nine from Winnipeg and nine from areas across the province. Through their dedicated efforts, support, and expertise they volunteer over 1,500 hours each year reviewing applications, the minister said.
