Ruth Betts Community School vice-principal Amber Zerbin is moving up the administrative ladder.
The Flin Flon school board voted on Tuesday, April 11 to promote Zerbin to the position of Ruth Betts principal effective this September. She replaces Tammy Ballantyne, who is taking over as assistant superintendent of the Flin Flon School Division.
While Zerbin’s appointment takes effect this fall, she will be on leave at that time. Mark Lucas will serve as acting principal for the 2017-18 school year, with Mike McLellan as acting vice-principal.
