Your selling and buying can help build a home. The Habitat 53 Chapter of Habitat for Humanity in Flin Flon is holding a Communities Yard Sale on Saturday, July 6 at their Re-Store at the armoury site next to Twin Motors. The Re-Store's Kathy McCormick says they are looking for people who want to rent a spot in front of their Re-Store for $10 to sell items from their vehicle or a table. They will also have barbecues set up to sell smokies and perogies and will have drinks for sale. If you are interested in renting a spot you can call Kathy at 204-687-6582. The sale will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 6. Whether you are selling or buying at the yard sale you can visit the Re-Store where they accept donations of building material, some appliances, furniture, cupboards and other gently used or discontinued items which they are selling at a reasonable price to build a home for a low income working family. You can also bring your change to support their ongoing penny drive.
