RCMP are looking for the public's help in identifying two would-be robbers who attempted to hold up a car wash in Norway House. Last Wednesday, Aug. 22, at about 10:30 p.m., Norway House RCMP were dispatched to an attempted armed robbery at Anderson's Car Wash, located just off of Highway 373. Two suspects brandishing weapons entered the store. A confrontation started between an employee and one of the suspects, and the suspects left the store empty handed. The suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a brown SUV style vehicle. The store clerk was the only person in the store at the time, and no injuries were reported. The suspects were both wearing face masks and are believed to be male. One is described as about six feet tall with a slim build, approximately 19 to 20 years old. Anyone with any information concerning this crime is asked to contact the Norway House RCMP at (204) 359-6483.
