Submitted by Women's Resource Centre The Women's Resource Centre is presenting a workshop for women entitled 'Why Am I So Angry?' beginning Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m. To register for this free eight-week program, call Barb at 204-681-3105. The workshop is to promote an understanding of what anger is, the feelings and effects generated by anger, recognition of occurrence, and effective ways to combat anger. Anger is a completely normal, and usually healthy, human emotion. Chronic anger creates problems getting along with others and can lead to involvement in physically or emotionally hurting others and self. Having 'a short fuse' is often a factor in other problematic behaviours such as 'road rage', accidents, and getting into verbal or physical fights. The effects of anger can harm the family, the self, employment, and anyone connected with the individual.
