A 19-year-old woman faces charges in the death of a male in Pukatawagan.
Leah Castel of Pukatawagan has been charged with second-degree murder and one count of attempted murder. She was scheduled to appear in court this week.
RCMP were notified of two injured males at the northern Manitoba reserve’s nursing station early Monday morning. One of the males succumbed to his injuries. The other remained in stable condition in hospital on Wednesday.
A male originally arrested by investigators has been released without charge.
Police said they would release no further details.
