The winter season has started in south Texas for some present Flin Flonners and former Flin Flonners. The first monthly supper for the season was held at Beto's restaurant again and was attended by just Muriel Burnett, Gail and Norm Rudd, Al and Agnes Mills, Reg Luchuk, Barry and Jeanette Smith and Glen Bryson. There are more than these down here already but probably senior moments come into play and, being the first supper, they may have forgot. Also, Jim and Audrey Parres were heading to Flin Flon today due to the passing of Jim's dad. Our condolences to the family. The weather here has just been grand for the last month. Not trying to brag or anything, just to let you know that it is a pretty nice way to spend the winter. The next supper will be the second monday of January at Beto's at 4.30 p.m. If you are in the area, be sure and drop in.
