During his years of involvement with the Flin Flon Bombers, John Kuzub often helped give away prizes for various club fundraisers. On Christmas day, the tables turned when Kuzub had a brand new snowmobile delivered to his door after winning the Border Explorers Snowmobile Club's holiday raffle. "I was pretty surprised," commented Kuzub, who purchased his winning ticket at Canadian Tire. That $5 investment went incredibly far for the Flin Flonner, who won a blue and gray 2004 Polaris Edge Touring 550 snowmobile valued at $7,700. See 'Success' P.# Con't from P.# Admittedly not a snowmobile enthusiast, Kuzub said he hasn't decided whether to keep the snowmobile and may look at selling it. For the Border Explorers, the snowmobile raffle was another big success. "We did good," said Dwayne Wenger, president, mentioning that this is the most lucrative fundraiser of the year for his club. The club had 4,000 tickets printed. The amount of tickets sold was not yet available. The winner of the Border Explorers, second prize, a limited edition print, was Jack Howard of Flin Flon. Tracy Knutson of Denare Beach won the third prize of a jacket.
