A summary of calls reported to the Flin Flon RCMP for the week of July 7-12.
Monday, July 7
• Report of vehicle on private property at Big Island; vehicle towed.
• Child Welfare Act complaint on Hillcrest. Child and Family Services notified.
Wednesday, July 9
• Report of intoxicated male on Main St. Police attended and subject was gone on arrival.
• Report of male attempting to steal item from a Main Street business. The man was arrested. He threatened and attempted to assault police. He was was charged with theft, assaulting police and uttering threat, and remanded into custody.
• Report of an intoxicated male on Hill St. He was arrested and lodged until sober.
Thursday, July 10
• Report of an aggressive patient at the Flin Flon General Hospital. Police attended and spoke with the subject about her behaviour and no further action was taken.
• Report of missing person on Hapnot St. Subject later returned home.
Friday, July 11
• Report of loud music at a residence on Adams St. Police attended and issued a warning.
• Report of loud music at a residence on Callinan St. Police attended and spoke to property representative. No further complaints were received.
• Report of disturbance at Island Drive. Com-plainant reported her son was intoxicated and not welcome in the home. Subject was gone upon police’s arrival.
Saturday, July 12
• Report of a disturbance on Hapnot St. Two people who had been fighting departed the area upon seeing police vehicle lights.
• Report of a loud party on Whitney St. Police attended and spoke to property representative.
• Report of children attempting to start garbage on fire in back lane of First Avenue. Police attended and conducted patrols and unable to locate.
• Report of damaged traffic light at Main St. and First Ave.
• Report of vehicle collision in the Canadian Tire parking lot.
• A vehicle observed driving without taillights on Hwy 10A near Chicken Chef was stopped. Driver was determined to be impaired. He was arrested and charged.
Sunday, July 13
• Report of attempted break and enter to Pharmasave on Church St. Police responded after receiving an alarm call.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Flin Flon RCMP .
• Report of residential fire on Terrace Avenue. Fire Dept attended and residence not on fire but determined food was left on stove unattended.
• Report of disturbance on Dadson Row. Police determined it was caused by two sisters engaged in a dispute.
