Half of Flin Flon will be without running water late tomorrow and early Friday as city workers repair a water break. Water on the west side of Ross Lake ? from the Gas Bar to uptown ? will be shut off from 11 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday. The shutoff is necessary to fix a water break on a fire line at the heating plant at the intersection of Third Avenue and Ross Street. Also during the shutoff, workers will change two water valves at the corner of Third Avenue and Callinan Lane, a portion of which has been fenced off for weeks. Director of Works and Operations Kevin Komarnicki encourages affected residents and businesses to store water ahead of time.
