John Hinks lights an ice-encased candle at Hillside Cemetery this past Sunday afternoon, Nov. 24. Hundreds of these “Memory Candles” were lit in honour of departed loved ones. The initiative, held annually, is a fundraiser of the Anglican Parish of St. Peter and St. James – though it’s more about community than generating dollars.
