A vehicle slows down to forge a washed out area of Third Avenue on Wednesday night after a quick thunderstorm dropped 14 mm of rain in the span of about three hours. This July has been abnormally wet, with 109.2 mm of rainfall so far this month as compared to 70.8 mm for all of July 2015, and 40.8 for the same period in 2014. Heaviest rainfall this month came on July 11, with 57.6 mm, and July 12 with 27 mm.
