Flin Flon Ski Club members had a surprise waiting for them on Sunday afternoon when they arrived to groom the trails Ð a burned out Jeep, still smouldering, sitting in the middle of the parking lot. The vehicle was discovered around 1 p.m. by club members, who quickly contacted the RCMP. Judging by the fresh tracks in the recent snow, a person or persons apparently tried to gain entry to the ski club trails using the Jeep to break through the rock and chain barricades that separate the parking lot from the trails. The rocks didn't budge, and the fence did its job, keeping the vehicle off the trails. Sometime after, the vehicle was abandoned and left to burn. Police did not have any details to release on the incident.
