To celebrate TV Turnoff Week, the NOR-MAN Regional Health Authority, along with Flin Flon Parks and Recreation and the Flin Flon District Health Council, are hosting a skating party at the new outdoor rink on Creekside Dr. February 21-27 is National TV Turnoff Week, and the skating party will be held tomorrow, February 24, from 6:30-8 p.m. Challenge your family to turn off the tube for a day or an entire week, but most importantly, get out and get active. There will be free hot chocolate, compliments of the Victoria Inn, as well as door prizes. Keep in mind that this is a skating party only, so no sticks or pucks will be allowed on the ice. Helmets are recommended.
