A bold thief made off with a truck from a Creighton garage in broad daylight on Tuesday, Creighton RCMP reported. The Toyota Tacoma has since been located in bush near the Phantom Lake Golf Course. The theft occurred Tuesday sometime between noon and 12:15 p.m. at a garage at 302 Fourth Avenue. Police believe the person or persons responsible were under the influence of alcohol or some other intoxicating substance. The truck was registered to Reiben Agencies and had the name of the business adorning its cap. The vehicle was located in the bush near the sharp curve adjacent to the driving range at the golf course. Police ask that anyone with information on this crime to contact them at 688-8888.
