Submitted by Flin Flon RCMP At approximately 7:34 p.m. on Sunday, Flin Flon RCMP were notified of a vehicle-pedestrian collision at the intersection on Island Dr. and Third Ave. in the City of Flin Flon. Police arrived on scene and found that a 12-year-old girl had been struck while in the intersection by a Dodge pick-up truck. The youth received serious injuries and was conscious when she was transported by EMS to the Flin Flon Hospital. The youth was later transferred to Winnipeg Children's Hospital for further care. The name of the youth is not being disclosed at this time, and police are continuing their investigation.
