Creighton Regional Development Corporation has announced that it will be opening the Royal North West Mounted Police Museum on May 31 as part of province-wide celebrations and promotion of Tourism Awareness Week, May 30 - June 5, 2004. The Royal North West Police Post Museum will be open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily, and hours will be extended June 28 from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. The museum is home to the many loaned or donated original artifacts from the local area. Come out and visit! The Northern Saskatchewan Tourism RV Tour will be coming to Creighton to celebrate Saskatchewan Tourism Week on May 31 and will be making stops at the Museum and Creighton School. The participating students will be taking part in a trivia contest related to facts about Saskatchewan and awarded prizes.
