Jonathon Naylor Editor Judges had a difficult task in picking the top entries in this year's Canada Day parade. The parade featured 25 floats, 26 classic cars, five bicycles and, of course, four Mounties in their Red Serge. 'I was very, very pleased,' said parade chair Cyndy Woods. Woods said the weather cooperated during and in the lead-up to the parade, so everyone was in the proper mood. A change made this year saw the classic cars placed at the front of the parade. It worked out better for the drivers, who did not have to follow behind slow-moving floats going up steep hills. Woods said she hopes for more entries next year.
