The heart of Flin Flon's municipal government needs a little TLC. The aging retaining wall in front of City Hall is set for repairs this year worth just over $10,600. 'Basically our brickwork on the front is falling apart,' said Coun. Bill Hanson, who at Tuesday's council meeting made a motion to fund the repairs. His colleagues also saw the need, unanimously carrying Coun. Hanson's motion. Council also voted to spend $17,300, before taxes, on a steamer unit for the city maintenance crew. Money for the steamer will be drawn from the city's equipment reserve fund.
