Whether or not rising country music star Brad Johner rolls into Creighton is up to local ticket buyers. Creighton Recreation and Parks must sell at least 250 tickets by Friday, April 30, in order to secure Johner for a concert next month. A veteran of the Canadian country music stage, Johner cleaned up at the 2004 Saskatchewan Country Music Association Awards, where he was named Entertainer of the Year and Top Male Vocalist, among other honours. Should the ticket goal be reached, Johner is slated to perform at the Creighton Sportex on Saturday, May 15, to help raise funds for Creighton Recreation and Parks.
