Science fairs have sure come a long way since the standard baking soda volcano projects of years gone by. That much was obvious at McIsaac School Ecole McIsaac yesterday as the school held its 2004 Science Fair. "They're getting better every year," junior high teacher and fair organizer Suzie Reid said of the projects. The 150 entries were on display in the school's gymnasium yesterday for student viewing throughout the day and public viewing in the evening. The projects represented each of the nine grades based in the school, kindergarten through to grade 8. All grade 7 and 8 students were required to enter as part of their curriculum. Judging began at the grade 4 level.
